The Weber Genesis E310 Gas Grill is a great option for people who love to grill on a regular basis and with a primary cooking area of 507 sq. inches you’ll be able to grill for a few friends without any problems. The grill is superior quality compared to other grills in it’s class and this is evident from it’s high quality construction.

From the solid steel grill lid to the cast aluminium fire box to the porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grates, when you assemble your Genesis E310 gas grill you will know you’re putting together a high quality product. Assembly is relatively easy and will take anything from 1.5 – 2.5 hours depending on how well you interprete the instructions. You have quite a big selection available to you in the Genesis E310 range – there is a variety of colors, two gas options (Liquid Propane Gas or Natural Gas) as well as two grate options (Stainless Steel 7mm Rod or Porcelain-Enameled Cast-Iron).

Cast Iron grates are great for cooking on, hold heat better than most metals and will leave a superior sear mark compared to other grates. The other difference between the two types of grates is that Cast Iron does not hold up as well as Stainless Steel when left outside in especially humid climates. This is not to say the cast iron grate won’t last in harsh weather conditions – the stainless steel will just hold up better in humid type climates. Cast Iron is also a bit harder to clean, but a small price to pay for great looking and tasting food. Which grates to choose depends entirely on you. We prefer great sear marks and the heat retention so Cast Iron would be our choice. Working in conjunction with the grate to ensure superior tasting food is the flavorizer bars, which will also prevent flare ups.

You can look forward to a grill that provides fantastic and even heat distribution thanks to the high quality grates. The three burners offer 42000 BTU’s and this three burner configuration will also allow you to do some indirect cooking. The individual electronic ignition system works like a bomb (in a good way though) and each can be adjusted individually. Some other really useful features are the thermometer which indicates the temperature inside the grill, while the fuel gauge inside the cabinet takes the guessing out of how much gas is left – very useful indeed. CONCLUSION:
The Weber Genesis E310 Gas Grill can grill just about whatever you want and it will certainly do it delicously at that. Expect a grill that performs consistently, has great heat retention without hot or cold spots, is durable and extremely easy to light. This grill will reach maximum temperature in 10 – 15 minutes and sear your steaks wonderfully. From the reviews we researched it would appear the E310 is by far the best option in it’s size and price range. The hardest decision is which colour will look best in your garden.

The only real negative are the side tables are not that big, but this is a small sacrifice to make for what is otherwise a really well thought out grill. Besides are you buying a grill or a table?
